A unique one-off edition every month
In collaboration with Froukje , we translated her love for the jungle, nature and biodiversity into a unique Limited Edition design, inspired by life in the middle of the jungle of Puntarenas, Costa Rica.
She is the second in the Buvanha X Artists series, in which we collaborate with seven artists worldwide to create a one-off edition of unique travel towels designed by them.
Meet Froukje
“Hello, my name is Froukje and I live in the south of Costa Rica, surrounded by one of the most impressive ecosystems in the world.
Every day I am inspired by the enormous wealth of life, color and silence that this place carries within it. For this design, in collaboration with Buvanha, I wanted to capture the essence of that natural harmony: the warmth, the movement and the rhythm of the jungle.”
How Costa Rica inspired me.....
For her towel design, Froukje was inspired by the vast jungle of Puntarenas in Costa Rica, where nature comes together in all its richness and vibrancy.
With this design she not only wants to show the enormous variety of life, but also the feeling of wonder and connection with nature that inspires her every day.
The jungle of Puntarenas in Costa Rica, with its rich wildlife and tropical colours, reflects the vibrancy and diversity of life in nature, according to Froukje.
The presence of toucans, boas and pumas symbolises the strength, tranquility and balance that make this special place so unique.

For this Limited Edition, Froukje herself chose a charity that is close to her heart: OSA Conservation . This organization is committed to protecting the unique biodiversity and the conservation of wild animals in the south of Costa Rica.
